A beautiful smoky topaz and rock quartz crystal necklace from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful piece is comprised of a single strand of graduating smoky topaz beads, which are separated by faceted rock crystal rondelle spacers. The topaz is rich and warm in color, exhibiting beautiful shades of smoky brown and the surface of each bead has a bold, faceted surface. The rock quartz crystal spacers are round and flat and have a faceted edge, giving the necklace a wonderful look! All of the beads are hand strung on white thread and meet at a simple 9kt barrel clasp in the back. The necklace looks beautiful when worn and would make a wonderful everyday accessory!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 24" long. The largest bead at the center measures approximately 15mm in size. The smallest beads at the ends measure 8mm in size.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to any of the beads or spacers, which are all?intact and securely strung. The barrel clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
