Antique French Patria medal depicting an ornate Liberty Goddess. The sun rises behind her symbolic a new day on the horizon for France. Present on the top of her helmet is a miniature winged goddess with a victory torch. The reverse side of this masterpiece is truly spectacular and features a high relief image of the Liberty Goddess proclaiming victory for France. Along the bottom in sculptural font is a patriotic French inscription.
